Improvisation workshop for guitar last Saturday, 9. September.

We had an improvisation workshop for guitar in Ekko last Saturday, 9. Some young people were music students and amateur guitarists. The participants were between 12 and 18 years old.

It started with explaining various concepts to improvise, such as spontaneity and creativity. Also, some theoretical concepts. For example, the relationship between harmony and scale or tonality.

After that, there was a jam in various styles, including blues, rock, jazz progressions, and Latin jazz. So the course was more active, in understanding better the theoretical concepts. The students enjoyed it and showed a lot of enthusiasm and interest.
