About
I am a Latin American guitarist and composer based in Norway. I was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
My musical journey commenced in childhood, as the vibrant musical notes filled our household when I was nine. At twelve, I discovered the guitar. I found inspiration in the enchanting solos of guitar legends like Randy Rhoads and Van Halen. Their artistry left an indelible mark on my musical evolution. I debuted with the band Khaos, a pivotal rock group in Honduras, a few years later. This marked a significant milestone in my musical journey with the release of «Forjado a Rocka.»
In 1986, I embarked on a musical journey to Italy. I spent 11 years performing with various rock bands and collaborating with esteemed Italian artists during this period. I immersed myself in studying classical music and jazz, as well as different modern and popular musical styles. A transformative moment occurred when I attended a flamenco concert and was mesmerized by the art of Paco de Lucia. This rekindled my connection to my Latin roots and profoundly shaped my musical identity.
In 1996, I made Norway my home, where I continue to reside and passionately pursue my career as a musician, composer, and educator. I share my knowledge and expertise in schools of music and culture. Over the years, I’ve released two albums: «Agua Que Fluye» in 2001. «Reflejos» in 2015. Along with several singles such as «Crecer,» «El Amanecer,» «Flor De Maiz,» «Anija,» «El Regalo,» «El Encanto,» and «Sunflower.» Each composition reflects the diverse influences and experiences that have enriched my musical journey. Blending elements from various genres and traditions to create a unique and expressive body of work.
